Senior Plant Accountant

Job description

The Senior Plant Accountant plays a key role in supporting the plant’s financial operations, including month end close, annual audits, inventory management, and corporate & management reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and sound judgment. They are proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across teams in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This position partners closely with manufacturing operations and corporate finance. The role is based on site at the Louisville manufacturing facility and reports directly to the Plant Controller. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Plant Controller with corporate and management reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Support month-end close activities, including preparation of standard and non-standard journal entries. - Monitor, maintain, and reconcile all inventory related accounting transactions.
