We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Mechanical Trade Assistant to help keep our operations running smoothly in our Pinkenba workshop. About the Role: In this role, you’ll support our mechanics and fabricators with day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring our fleet and equipment remain safe, reliable, and ready for work. No two days are the same in this fast-paced workshop environment. You will: - Assist qualified tradespeople with mechanical and fabrication tasks - Carry out basic servicing, maintenance, and small engine repairs - Support stores operations, including ordering, receiving, and picking parts - Operate a range of vehicles and machinery (manual and automatic) - Contribute to workshop organisation, housekeeping, and safety compliance Mandatory: - A valid driver’s licence – experience with both manual and automatic vehicles is essential - Experience in automotive mechanical, fabrication, or a similar hands-on trade environment Highly desirable: - MR driver’s licence (or willin...
