JOB SUMMARY: This position will support manufacturing through process control & improvement initiatives, assume responsibility for integrity for assigned products, establishes & maintains external & internal customer contacts, documents & prepares part specific work instructions & maintain knowledge of job cost & develop/implement appropriate plans to improve profitability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop new, and refine existing investment casting product to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing costs. Support manufacturing in the producing of castings through all operations. Assist engineering / manufacturing in the completion of assigned projects. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist engineering/manufacturing in the completion of assigned projects. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required. - Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Engineering/Management. - Previous Co-Op experience with Howmet La Porte required. - Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
