As part of this, we are creating a new Local Democracy Manager role to strengthen the delivery of democratic services and scrutiny, and to ensure the Council’s decision making arrangements are robust, transparent and well supported. This is a key operational management post within Democratic Services, reporting to the Head of Democratic Services.
