Job description

Your Role: The Fleet Garage Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role involves preparing parts for retests, conducting inspections, managing inventory, and supporting various operational areas. The technician will work closely with logistics, fleet engineering, and maintenance contractors to ensure efficient fleet operations. Key Responsibilities: Retesting and Inspections: - Retest of equipment following established internal procedures. - Schedule ISO rebuilds and recertification planning. - Oversee chassis inspection vendor, providing support where required. - Conduct Fit-for-Fills and Just-in-Time Inspections, including leak checks on incoming bulk fleet and packs. - Provide support to other operational areas with valve repairs and assist Fleet Engineering with emerging issues. Inventory and Maintenance Management: - Perform yard checks and provide the yard jockey with a list of Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks for the on-site maintenance contractor, indicating PM completion in SAP. - Support the movement of ISO’s and containers using heavy equipment...
