JOB SUMMARY: The DPW Ranger will work with DPW Ranger Leadership and DPW Leadership to provide a safe, supportive environment for the Burning Man staff and community in the Gerlach area during the season from late July to mid October. This is a temporary, full-time , non-exempt role, based in Gerlach, NV This position spans three contracts running consecutively: July 26 - Aug 15, 2026. Aug 16 - Sept 19, 2026. And Sept 20 - Oct 10, 2026 An ideal candidate would be available for all three contracts, but there may be options to work one or two of them, depending on need. Contracts can automatically proceed from one to the next if the expectations of the role are being met and the employee / team leadership are comfortable with the work performed up to that point.
