Maintenance Intern

Job description

This is a summer internship in the maintenance department. The intern will be responsible for maintaining administrative and operational areas of the maintenance group with emphasis on the make ready functions. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Qualifications: - Answer all incoming calls and handle accordingly using Mac telephone greeting standards. - Respond in a timely manner to all email requests providing excellent customer service to residents on their work order requests. - Enter service requests in MacForce and ensure they are assigned to the appropriate maintenance technician. - Input information regarding work order status in resident note area in MacForce. - Follow up on work orders and status and close out work order tickets when work has been completed. - Responds to employee and resident requests in a courteous and timely manner. - Keeps work area clean and equipment in good working order. - Performs duties according to Occupations Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards and company safety policies at all times. - Assist with resident concerns, move-in ready requests or related activities as requested by management. - Performs other related duties and pro...
