Full Consideration Date: 5/1/2026 Job Description: The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Applied Engineering seeks applications for an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Applied Engineering position, starting August 2026. Courses taught may include: Circuits and Systems, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Linear Control Systems, PLCs, Electronic Communications, Digital Signal Processing, and other courses as assigned. This position also works with a university in China to deliver courses face to face in China; and also has corresponding committee work and assisting with student activities. Required Qualifications: Doctorate or foreign equivalent in Computer or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or related field; demonstrated ability to teach electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology courses at the university or community college level as shown by a seminar presentation, interview, and/or experience; and willingness to...
