PA/ARNP Hospitalist - Pediatric Pain/Palliative Care - ( 26001125 ) Description Working with Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care and the Pediatric Comprehensive Pain Clinic at the UI Children’s Hospital, focus on the care of inpatient and outpatient pain and palliative care patients, developing plans of care and providing personalized care to pediatric patients requiring pain management and palliative care. Perform direct patient care including diagnostic and therapeutic services to manage pain and provide palliative care. Work as an interdisciplinary team member to lead and support quality patient care. HOURS OF WORK: Works as part of a team who cares for pediatric pain and palliative patients requiring medical coverage as clinically indicated. Will include providing coverage for 24/7 call, weekends, evenings, and holidays on a rotation amongst the other Pediatric Pain & Palliative Care providers. Clinical: Conduct comprehensive assessments focused on the pain and palliative care needs of children and families.
