Job Summary: The Tax Experienced Senior, Business Incentives Group is primarily responsible for executing project tasks to identify, document, and support on exam BIG tax credits and incentives. In this role, the Tax Experienced Senior, Business Incentives Group is charged with utilizing research skills and applying industry knowledge to understand the potential BIG tax credit issues and opportunities and to gather client information and documentation to identify qualified costs and expenses and calculate the BIG benefits efficiently and effectively. The role also may assist with business development and operational matters. Job Duties: Research - Identifies intermediate to complex situations when research is needed, providing an outline of the issue(s) and research to be conducted - Analyzes researched facts and sources prior to composing a detailed report of the research findings - Composes standard research memos in support of projects / transactions Tax Compliance: - Ensures clients comply with applicable authorities while identifying options for minimizing the client’s tax and reporting burdens - Obtains required client information to utilize in the preparation of tax filings...
