Job Summary: The Generac Generator Service Technician will test /troubleshoot Generac systems, continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform inspections, preventive maintenance service, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service on Generac Air-Cooled 10-26KW generators. Access and accurately identify all defective parts to be ordered. · Understanding of combustion, gaseous air-cooled engines. · Communicate information to customers and factory support team in an accurate, factual, and courteous manner. Ensure work scope has been performed and generator is operational. Write clear and concise service reports. Other Duties as assigned by supervision. Required Skills/Abilities: · Ability to replace batteries, filters and generator components as needed, per the manufacturer recommendations. · Must have own mechanics and electrical tools including meters.
