Mental Health Clinician - Per Diem 2600022F Description Position Summary: The Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates in a correctional setting including crisis intervention, screening, assessment and evaluation, psychoeducational services, individual and group therapy, treatment planning and release planning. Monitor inmates with mental health service needs in general population and specialized housing. Supervision Received: Receives general direction and oversight from the Health Services Administrator and the Psychiatrist in performing duties in accordance with all best practices and established guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide direct clinical care and consultation services in accordance with BCSO policies and procedures and in accordance with the ethical standards of relevant professional organizations (e.g., NASW).
