Position Information Authorized Job Title: Maintenance Worker I Functional Title: Maintenance Worker: Reports To: Day Supervisor: Department: Facilities: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Summary: Completes and/or assists with assigned building repairs, construction projects, preventive maintenance and custodial duties. Functions: ** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Completes and/or assist skilled trade’s workers in daily maintenance. - Completes and/or assist with picture framing, hanging pictures and carpentry projects. - Completes and/or assist with custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping and picking up trash. - Other duties as assigned. - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties Dimensions: Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
