Test Engineer The Opportunity: When an Air Force or Navy user tries new sof t war e, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful sof t war e development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, an experience d test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test sof t war e and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best sof t war e possible. As a Test Engineer on our Space Force team, you’ll use your experience to work with developers and engineers to evaluate sof t war e developed for national defense. You’ll create test plans with test cases based on user stories and requirements. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the sof t war e performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. As a member of our team, you’ll demonstrate a proactive approach to work, consistently anticipating needs and taking initiative to address challenges before they arise.
