Description Task description: We seek a research technician specialized in programming and app development to work on the IDAlert, E4Warning, and Planet4Health Projects, funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe programme. The research technician will lead the Mosquito Alert IT team, carrying out a variety of programming tasks, including (a) developing, maintaining, and improving mobile phone and web applications, servers, and related software tools used for citizen science and human subjects research related to public health and human mobility, (b) implementing unit testing, (c) documenting code, (d) collaborating with other programmers and scientists to ensure data quality, robust connections between apps and servers, and effective interactions and experiences by participants (UX), and (e) fostering open source communities contributing to the code base.
