Job description

Position Overview The Manufacturing Quality Engineer ensures strong product and process control aligned with the Control Plan while partnering closely with production teams. This role also leads the 8D problem‑solving process for all internal and external concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Key Tasks: Ensure full compliance with Production Control Plans and maintain updated documentation throughout the program lifecycle. Verify proper use, calibration, and maintenance of measurement and test equipment, including “red rabbits” used for Poka‑Yoke validation. Collect, analyze, and react to manufacturing process data; maintain SPC capability studies and drive continuous improvement. Approve and maintain all quality documents for the production line/cell, such as Control Plans, Work Instructions, Boundary Samples, Appearance Books, and Rework/Inspection Instructions. Ensure proper containment, rework, and inspection processes for non‑conforming products while leading timely disposition.
