Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. The role also encompasses project management for PS&E, cost estimation, and scheduling. Work requires regular interaction with private entities and government officials. The Transportation Engineer must be proficient in project management processes, including contract and work authorization processing.
