Description Main Purpose of the Role: In concert with company policy; monitor, track and report the following; duplicate coding on all invoices related to reefer, genset & dry container repairs; vet all estimates related to repair; maintains all reefer, genset & OOS inventories; handles all bookings and manifests for reefers; invoices all M&R fueling gensets; processes invoices for the Branch. Main Tasks: - Ensure repair vendors submit damage estimates within 2 days of container arrival. - Review submitted estimates to verify accuracy of repair codes and compliance with ZIM repair policies. - Identify and apply any potential cost reductions or adjustments. - Follow up with repair vendors to ensure they receive estimate approvals and expedite repair completion within 2 days plus designated task time. - Review daily depot and terminal inventories to ensure systems are updated accurately with all damage related movements. - Coordinate with the equipment team to reposition damaged containers to repair facilities. - Review estimate for possible 3rd party claim. - Gather documentation necessary for 3rd party claim. - Notify liable party of 3rd party claim intent. - Forward 3rd party clai...
