Clinical - Practice Assistant ( 74333 ) FLUCLINIC: Brewster,NY: M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Overhire: Position Overview: Responsible for ensuring customer service and the front desk processes of registration, scheduling and payment collection are to CareMount Medical’s standards operationally and financially Add'l. Description : This is a Front desk position for this year's Flu Clinic. The Practice Assistant will be responsible for checking patients into the clinic and also verifying insurance. The clinic will start on 9/19 with training the week before starting 9/12. The hours will be Mon - Fri 8:00 - 5:00 with one evening until 7:00 pm and rotating Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following) : - Provide quality Customer Service to the patients and visitors courteously and promptly. - Verify and update patient account information according to Front Desk policy and procedures. - Works routinely with the Insurance Verification team to maintain knowledge of Insurance and to ensure accuracy of information is being entered. - Maintains work area and patient waiting room routinely and in a neat and orderly manner. - Mai...
