Description Job Summary: The Team Lead position is responsible for supporting day to day tasks for assigned assembly lines with direct reports for the area. These tasks will include direct supervision, leading and monitoring product builders to ensure they are able to successfully meet and exceed established standards, volumes and other line KPIs as well as support continuous improvement activities. Supervisory Responsibilities: - Assists with setting and overseeing work assignments, schedules, and work quality of an assembly line Essential Functions: - Leads the production of product by providing clear direction to operators working within production and communicate output and challenges to Supervisor - Perform work in process quality checks for assigned lines and alert Supervisor to any existing discrepancies - Occasionally assist with shipping, receiving, inspection, and production planning - Promotes “safety first” mindset across production floor and ensures staff are following safety procedures/guidelines, including PPE when required - Observe, maintain, and improve work cell standardized work and standardized WIP - Provide training to new team members and provide cross-traini...
