Job Description Overview: We are seeking a Sr Archaeologist to join our team in Tampa, FL. Your role: - Serve as Principal Investigator on transportation, planning, and infrastructure projects: plan and lead fieldwork, including survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring. - Provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality Cultural Resources services to clients, while maintaining project schedules, budgets, and quality. - Assist in development of proposals, including preparation of scope and fee documents, to ensure client satisfaction and profitability of projects. - Evaluate sites for eligibility in the National Register of Historic Places, in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and other relevant environmental laws. - Assess effects to sites, including working with engineering and planning professionals and the overall project team to avoid or minimize impacts in accordance with Section 106. - Write technical reports including Cultural Resource Assessment Surveys (CRAS), including creating site forms. - Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies and tribal governments. - Assist the larger Cultur...
