Job description

Role Objective The team works on keeping map data accurate and updated based on real-world changes. The work includes reviewing issues submitted by map users and testing location results shown in web search and map platforms. The Mapping City/Country Expert supports transit and mapping data quality by providing local market expertise and improving city and country-level data accuracy. Responsibilities – City Expert: - Communicate with internal teams and external partners to support project goals - Create city-level transit data policies based on local market needs and regulations - Identify user expectations, data gaps, and transit-related issues - Improve transit data models using local knowledge of transportation systems - Validate and review updated transit data - Edit and maintain different types of transit data - Resolve complex mapping and transit data issues - Support Program Managers in communication with data providers and partners - Conduct field research to verify transit information and user issues - Support outage and alert management for assigned cities - Manage city-specific data pipelines using internal platforms and basic programming skills Responsibilities – Count...
