Tunista Logistics Solutions LLC Regular: PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Aviation Equipment Specialist is responsible for all tools, equipment and shop assets valued at $1.5M including the security, management and positive control through inventory and company procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Maintains the tool room and equipment in a neat and orderly manner. - Ensures the FOD and Tool Control program is enforced throughout the facility - Ensures all equipment is accounted for using the tool and equipment asset control database. - Assists with tooling needs and provides information/training to new employees regarding tooling and supplies. - Manages in-service and calibration requirements for all required assets and equipment. - Manages and oversees the consumable asset program and ensures adequate resources are available to support ongoing operations. - Inspects equipment regularly to ensure serviceability and maintainability.
