Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI: Required Education: High School or Equivalent Job Description: The contractor shall maintain the health and viability of the Virtual Environment (VE) components of the Air Force DCGS Experimental enclave (DGS-X), Langley AFB, VA. Non-daytime shiftwork required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide health and status monitoring of equipment and the VE, respond to and resolve incidents in accordance with the established guidelines to prevent failures and limit outages that impact service delivery - Manage all components of VE, including HW, virtual appliances and associated SW - Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtual machines - Monitor alerts, provide resource capacity utilization, make recommended optimization configuration changes, and create run reports - Provide automation for VM development, environment upgrades, and hardening Required Qualifications: - Two years’ experience performing core systems administration on virtual machines - Two years’ VMware experience - DoD 8570 certified, IAT Level II - Communicate effectively orally and in writing - Project st...
