Employment Type: Hourly Shift: Second: Work Arrangement: Onsite: Position Summary: Installs and writes programmable logic contoller based systems, maintains electronic and instrument based components of machinery and equipment while following electrical code, ladder logic, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications. Assists in project management and implementation of new control systems. Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Programs, troubleshoots, and maintains PLC's with a lap top computer using platform systems by vendors such as Allen Bradley, Semiens, Rexroth, etc. - Assists in project management and implementation of new control systems, control system upgrades, equipment, and equipment upgrades - Replaces faulty switches, and other elements of electrical and mechanical systems. Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures. - Installs, repairs, overhauls, modifies and maintains electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. - Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electrical, electronic, and mechanical components throughout the Plant. - Maintains Plant power distributi...
