Resourcing Compliance Assistant Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months Grade B - £28,598 - £33,699 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: About the Role: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Compliance Assistant to join our Resourcing Compliance Team at Birmingham City Council. This role is vital in ensuring our recruitment and employment compliance processes are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with legislation and council policies. What You’ll Be Doing: - Provide the first point of contact for recruitment compliance queries across the Council, supporting areas such as DBS checks, Right to Work, visa sponsorship and referencing. - Deliver first-line advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance issues relating to resourcing. - Support the maintenance of safe and compliant recruitment records, including those linked to protected roles and regulated professions. - Assist with providing information for sponsorship queries, and contribute to the preparation of DBS panel documentation and follow-up actions. - Contribute to the development of responses for FOI and SAR submissions relating...
