Job description
Responsibilities The Cloud Architect serves as a key technical leader responsible for shaping, guiding, and advancing the organization’s cloud strategy in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role oversees the planning, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and mission-aligned cloud architectures. The Expert Cloud Architect ensures that thorough analyses of cloud service alternatives are conducted and prioritized, enabling the Government to effectively architect business and mission solutions using cloud-based systems and services. Key Responsibilities: Drive Cloud Transformation: Lead and support cultural and organizational change initiatives that promote successful cloud adoption across NGA and related mission environments. Architect Cloud Solutions: Oversee the design, development, and coordination of integrated cloud architectures that meet NGA’s operational, security, and mission requirements. Strategic Cloud Planning: Develop and refine enterprise cloud strategies to guide the adoption, migration, and optimization of cloud-based solutions within NGA’s technical ecosystem.
