MELE Associates is seeking Special Security Officer to interpret and define policy guidelines, develop and implement specific guidelines to meet localized requirements, and monitor program effectiveness. They shall participate in program and project planning efforts to evaluate the need for security requirements and recommend equipment, methods, procedures, and systems. The person supporting this position shall ensure timely, effective, and professional responsiveness to customers and perform those duties associated with a Special Security Officer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Assist in executing the DOE SCI program in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and DOE Orders within the Intelligence complex and serve as a DOE point of contact for queries involving all aspects of the DOE SCI Program. - Conduct and review all Intelligence Community certification and accreditation requirements and activities for Sensitive Compartmented Information facilities (SCIFs) and other compartmented information accesses to a wide variety of other organizations and agencies within the IC nationwide. - Conduct program activities for the SCI personnel, physical, document, Technical, COMSEC...
