Overview This position represents patient care directed toward pediatric critical care areas; step down areas, and general care areas Qualifications: Education/Licensure/Certifications: HS/GED Required. Must be licensed by the ASBRT and registered by the NBRC or credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) by the NBRC. PALS, NRP and ACLS required by the end of 6 months. Certification of BLS is preferred for hire processes and required within the orientation period, not to exceed 90 days of hire or transfer. Experience: Clinical experience obtained while attending Respiratory program and will be able to function in critical settings including initiation, and support of, mechanical ventilation. Additional experience relating to intubation and pediatric transport competencies are preferred upon hire. TWO YEARS PEDIATRIC, NEONATAL or TRANSPORT EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED. NO NEW GRADS.
