About the Role: You’ll be supporting a teenage boy with complex needs. He responds well to calm, consistent, and engaging support workers who can match his energy and interests. The ideal candidate would be someone with a laid-back personality, good humour, and the ability to encourage positive routines while building trust over time. Key Responsibilities: - Build a buddy-like rapport through shared interests (e.g., gaming, walking, music). - Support morning/evening routines, school attendance, and home-based learning. - Encourage healthy choices in meals, rest, hygiene, and social skills. - Support emotional regulation and respond safely to escalation using therapeutic approaches. - Maintain household cleanliness and safety routines. - Administer medications and complete shift documentation as required.
