Job Title: Electrician Department: Water Treatment Plant Shift: Wednesday through Sunday, 11:30 am – 8:00 pm Union: Pittsburgh Joint Collective Bargaining Committee (PJCBC) Rate: $38.839 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Under the supervision of the Plant Maintenance Foreman, this position operates with detailed technical skill and expertise in the completion of tasks and ensures that the components of the Authority’s different process controls are operational, servicing the electronic components of monitoring and some of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA), as well as the initial troubleshooting of equipment and services, electrical transmission lines, circuitry, and motors. Must have or obtain within one year, the City of Pittsburgh Master Electrician License. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Designs, tests, calibrates, operates, maintains, and repairs electronic measuring and recording instruments, apparatus and equipment used to monitor and control Authority operations including the water treatment plant, chemical facilities, filtration processes and remote facilities. - Calibrates, repairs, and maintains analog, digital control systems, flow meters, and pressure sensors. - Id...
