IT School Support Position Summary: The IT School Support p rovide s level 1 and 2 hardware and software support to the campus administ ration personnel, students, and faculty. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Overall - Responds to administration /faculty/student inquiries c oncerning system(s) operations. - D iagnoses system hardware, software, and op erator problems . Provides updates to the College President on open tickets/problem resolutions. - Track s , prioritize s, and document s requests using an IT support request system . - Installs and configures new computers and other IT equipment as well as repairing and upgrading different types of computers (software and hardware) . - Responsible for track ing of IT supplies and equipment ( e.g. cables and adapters ). - Perform s regular updates to servers . - Installs and builds cables for the campus . - Proactively examines current systems in place and inquires about new software /hardware in the market that relates to the campus functions . - Documents systems processes and procedures . - Other duties as assigned.
