Assistant FSQA Technician

Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Assists with Microbiological Testing, Specification Tests, and WIS (wet in shell) kernel recovery, water chemistry, fresh water, and autoclave operations. - Assists with both product sampling and quality analysis of nut in shell. - Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices for food processing. - Performs other work-related duties as needed and will be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Team. - Must follow all company safety standards and procedures. - Must be able to work night shifts and extended daily work hours. - Regular attendance is required for the position. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Basic math skills are required. - A high school diploma and experience in a factory or lab environment is preferred. - Must have basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, work under pressure, and be able to meet required deadlines. - Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to follow instructions are required.
