Patient Access Coordinator - Medical Imaging (Full Time / Days)

Job description

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: Hourly $22.22 - $33.33 If selected, you'll provide exemplary customer service for Imaging patients and visitors to the hospital. You'll interview patients to gather complete demographic and financial data needed to complete the registration process accurately, efficiently and promptly. You'll also collect appropriate payments, obtain required signatures, and notify patients/guests of hospital regulations, policies and services. This job includes Overlake's generous benefits package including tuition reimbursement. Full Time / Days: Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred. Formal training in medical terminology, hospital finance and customer relations is a plus. Previous admission/registration experience or previous physician office, hospital or other frontline customer contact experience in a business setting. Demonstrated customer service skills required. Exceptional interpersonal skills to interview, educate and advise patients of hospital policies and the professionalism to positively interact with other Overlake personnel are required.
