Job Description THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED AN HOURLY RATE OF $26.73. The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports. ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services and provides subsidized childcare vouchers. ACS child protection staff respond to allegations of child maltreatment. In juvenile justice, ACS oversees detention, placement, and programs for youth in the community. ACS’ Division of Child and Family Well-being (CFWB) works to ensure critical supports to families and children and is rooted in the belief that all New Yorkers should have health resources, and educational, cultural, and social opportunities that support their capacity to thrive. Through the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships (OCEP), CFWB invests in and collaborates with eleven funded Community Partnerships. The Partnership model is coalition-based and grounded in community building, community organizing, and social equity principles.
