Job description

Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage the accounting department personnel. - Maintain general ledgers for all Rhode Island properties, including sportsbook and I gaming operations - Oversee monthly close process - Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements. - Prepare quarterly reporting packages due to corporate - Oversee the collections of inter-track settlements. - Maintain contract files. - Balance monthly cash accounts. - Reconcile all balance sheet accounts - Analyze various monthly general ledger accounts. - Prepare and maintain monthly Sales Tax reports. - Responsible for all remittances to the Rhode Island Lottery - Responsible for federal and state remittances to the Department of Treasury and State of Rhode Island, respectively - Responsible for submissions of marketing reimbursement packages to the Rhode Island Lottery - Responsible for maintaining accounting policies and procedures - Coordinates with shared services for accounting processes handled by Corporate including payroll, fixed assets, leases and income taxes - Yearly filing of IRS reports: W2G, 1099’s and 1042’s. - Backup for daily cash reporting. - Backup for wire transfer - Reconcile Keno repor...
