Process Engineer - Diffusion

At Nexperia Manchester we are now expanding our Semiconductor Process Engineering Team to support the diffusion technologies. As a Process Engineer you will play a key role in sustaining daily production while driving long-term improvement projects in varying areas of the fab. This is a great chance to work in a dynamic environment covering many processing technologies, offering a clear development path. What you will do: As a Process Engineer at Nexperia you will split your time between reactive sustaining work (around 80%) and proactive project delivery (around 20%). You will work on manufacturing processes that cover areas including furnacing, wafer cleaning, sputtering, passivation, evaporation and rapid thermal processing. Your key responsibilities will include: Yield, Capability & Performance Improvement - Sustain and improve mechanical and electrical yields to meet departmental targets - Monitor and improve Cpk levels across all processes, including coordinating R&R studies on metrology equipment - Ensure process performance is reviewed, tracked and reported in line with factory policy Continuous Improvement & Development Projects: - Deliver technical improvement projects fo...
