Maintenance Technician (Level I) Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Level I Maintenance Technician to join our on-site facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, inspection, and repair of warehouse infrastructure. You will play a critical role in minimising downtime by ensuring our conveyance systems and general warehouse equipment remain fully operational. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual with strong DIY aptitude and an interest in data-driven maintenance management. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repairs: - Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automated conveyance systems, sorters, and peripheral warehouse equipment. - Execute general facility repairs, including but not limited to HVAC adjustments, lighting, plumbing, and structural/building fabric maintenance. - Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards or mechanical failures before they impact operations. - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
