Sustainability Specialist

Job description

Role Responsibilities: · Supporting the Group Head of Sustainability & Social Impact in improving and developing the environmental performance of the Showcase Group. · Managing supply chain performance; auditing key suppliers and providing data to line manager to ensure continuous improvement in sustainability standards and accurate capture of environmental impact that falls under Showcase’s jurisdiction (Scope 3). · Supporting the Group Head of Sustainability & Social Impact in maintaining Showcase’s Green League, to ensure that we make an annual improvement with regards to sustainable procurement. · Supporting project teams with client sustainability objectives, including project carbon impact through furniture, freight, delivery & installation and reuse. This is often led by Green Building Certifications, such as BREEAM, LEED, WELL and SKA, so a basic understanding of these would be beneficial. · Assisting with tenders and contributing towards annual sustainability questionnaires (CDP, Ecovadis, etc) · Assisting in the maintenance of our ISO14001-certified EMS. · Contributing towards the annual environmental data collation that is required for our transparent sustainability cert...
