Finger Lakes Health seeks Lead Teacher to join our Jim Dooley Early Learning Center! Full Time Opening – Day Shift! No weekends and No holidays! Competitive salary and benefit package! Full Time employees will receive a $1,000 sign on bonus! Position Summary: Under guidance from the Director of Child Care, plans and implements a developmentally appropriate ECE classroom program. Lead Teachers and Teachers work as a team to implement daily learning activities and care, using knowledge of the children's social relationships, interests, ideas, and skills to tailor learning opportunities for groups and individuals. Develops strategies to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Completes documentation and leads meetings. Conducts parent/teacher conferences and provides support services to families. Position requires ability to mentor & guide - teaching assistants and work collaboratively to develop an action plan for growth and success. Works collaboratively with other Lead Teachers to plan, organize, and evaluate needs of the Center's educational programs and improvement initiatives.
