Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Procuring direct, indirect and shop supplies, services and equipment as required. - Planning and issuing PO’s to suppliers based on material requirements. - Generate cost savings via negotiating, alternate sourcing or process improvements. - Drive inventory reduction using lean principles internally and externally. - Improve material flow thru lean manufacturing systems internally and with external suppliers. - Develop and implement system improvements through Oracle and Excel to better support production, reporting of metrics and improve material flow. - First point of escalation to resolve supplier issues and concerns. - Effective and efficient transition of new materials into the supply chain. - Resolve A/P issues. Education/ Skills/ Experience: - BS/BA Degree with a minimum of three to five years experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experiences. - Certifications of CPM and/or CPIM are preferred. - Ability to read, analyze and negotiate contracts, strategic agreements, financial reports and legal documents - Lean experience is preferred. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Oracle experience preferre...
