Transportation Intern

Worthington Enterprises is looking for a hard-working student to assist its transportation and supply chain functions at our manufacturing facility in Closter, NJ. This internship will provide hands-on experience in understanding end-to-end supply chain operations, including freight, tariffs, and their impact on product cost and availability . This position is a 40-hour-per-week, in-office role throughout the summer. This position does not offer relocation or a housing stipend. Responsibilities: - Prepare data and insights for monthly meetings with the Sales organization, focusing on customer demand, service levels, and supply chain performance - Support the team with analysis for monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, including demand planning and supply balancing - Analyze freight costs, tariffs, and logistics-related charges to understand their impact on product cost and delivery performance - Assist in evaluating inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance to improve supply chain efficiency - Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to understand the full product lifecycle - Help improve visibility into key s...
