May be taken more than once, provided the subtitle is different. THEME: Creation for Radio Theatre: DESCRIPTION: This course is a combination of theoretical exploration and practical workshop in the creation of radio theatre, focusing on radio performance through dramaturgy of sound, voice, and sonic composition. Students will read and analyse theory of radio drama and develop skills in radio theatre techniques through hands-on exercises and projects that explore the full range of sonic stagecraft. By the end of the course, students will have produced a short, broadcast-ready radio theatre piece while gaining an understanding of the history and artistic traditions of the form.
