Project Estimator

Job description

The Project Estimator will plan, coordinate, and/or prepare full estimates for large, complex HVAC Mechanical work and contracts. This position will work with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to generate budgets, proposals, hard bids, etc. for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. They will be responsible for review of all final estimate packages with the General Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness. The Estimator will also perform negotiation of contract scope, buyout of projects, and write-ups for accounting. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide control activities to support field personnel and to ensure customer satisfaction, safety and obtainment of Quality Goals. - Provide project administration inner office, customer liaison activities, inspections, reporting and achievement of project schedule and budget. - Provide accurate and timely estimates for service division direct replacement installations and repairs - Perform off site and on-site supervision of startup activities by Rabe and Factory technician - Perform direct research and client contact to bid and/or negotiate contracts for mechanical services provided by Rabe with direction from DIV...
