Production Scheduler

Job description

Position Summary The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in our high-speed beverage facility. This role coordinates closely with production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, and sales teams to meet customer demand while optimizing equipment utilization, minimizing downtime, and controlling costs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and manage detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across multiple lines - Coordinate production runs with raw material availability, packaging supplies, and labor resources - Work closely with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and changeovers with minimal disruption - Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate equipment issues, rush orders, or customer demand changes - Monitor and report key metrics including schedule adherence, line efficiency, and downtime - Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal finished goods and raw material levels - Analyze production data and recommend improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput - Generate reports for leadership on production pe...
