Work Schedule: This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. This position is hybrid and training is required onsite at 7974 UW Health Ct. in Middleton, WI. Training can last up to 6 weeks and is scheduled from 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday each week. Once fully trained, the selected individual will transition to a primarily remote role and will be scheduled Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m - 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking an Authorization Representative to: - Obtain prior authorization from payers for inpatient and outpatient services provided by UW Health. - Demonstrate skilled communication and troubleshooting techniques as well as excellent customer service skills. - Anticipate and respond to a wide variety of issues/concerns and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
