Job Overview The Library Supports Services Manager works with other managers and the executive team to develop and implement support plans to fulfill the department's mission and strategic plan for libraries throughout Tampa and Hillsborough County, Florida. Ideal Candidate: Library Services is seeking a Manager for Library Facilities. The Manager in this position develops best practice processes for Library Facilities, plans and implements goals of the department in coordination with library leadership and provides project management of library R3M and capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate has: - at least five years of experience in a supervisory management role overseeing facilities management processes for a library system or related public service environment with multiple locations; - proven success working well with front line staff, internal departments, government agencies, and outside organizations; - excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism; and - strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
