Job description

Overview Our growing company is seeking to hire an Assembler. As an employee/owner at MEC, you are responsible by assembling parts and subassemblies for OEM products. A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include: Work from assembly drawings and specifications - Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s) or sample parts. - Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns and power devices to assemble parts. - Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. - Checks parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares and gages. - Assembles prototypes with Engineering help. - Inspects parts for various types of cosmetic specifications. - Where required, must achieve certification in riveting. - Must be able to assemble at every station and process on the assembly line. - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related resu...
