Facility HealthPlex Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina Department: Healthplex Job Family: Professional Work Shift: Summary: Responsible for designing, teaching, and instructing classes. Major Job Functions The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Starts and finishes each class on time Structures and instructs classes to meet needs of participants Maintains positive guest relations: May teach offsite classes: Other duties as assigned: Minimum Qualifications: The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job: Education and Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree in exercise or related field for specialty classes (i.e. meditation) preferred Certification in one or more of the fitness accrediting bodies (ACE, AFAA, or ACSM) required Specific class certification (Yoga, Zumba, Les Mills, Warm Water Arthritis) required BCLS certification required: Work Experience: 2 years of instructio...
