Job description

All Machine Operators are responsible for machining components accurately, performing quality checks to verify product output, and keeping records of production quantities. Level II Operators also are accountable for completing necessary setup operations and basic troubleshooting, Position may at times involve other related work in the department. 1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, M-F. 2nd shift: 2:45 pm -12:45 am, M-TH Job location: Racine, WI: Job Type: Temp-to-hire: Salary: $18-25 based on experience: Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate milling, lathe, and broaching machines according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce quality components. - Inspect and measure parts using calipers, veneers, micrometers, and/or height gauges, CMMs and other precision instruments. - Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performances. - Perform machine setups. tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to ensure accuracy. - Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. - Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues related to tooling, programming, or part quality. - Organize and maintain accurate production records, document...
